Activity Details
The numerous reception and leisure facilities make it a very lively tourist center. Fishing, water sports, swimming, mountain biking, and hiking delight nature lovers. A 7km long artificial lake, it was created in the late 1960s to irrigate the surrounding crops and regulate the flooding of the Lergue and Hérault rivers. Today, this surprising landscape is surrounded by red-colored mountains, the ruffes, and black mountains made from volcanic rock. Mount Liausson dominates the area at 535m. The area is also famous for its Lucca olives and oil, its honey, and its many vineyards.
